Join fellow alumni, and volunteer to help FDU students learn the art and skill of networking their way to success. First-year students are required to take the course, University 1002: Preparing for Professional Life. It is a professional development course designed to help students explore career options and build professional skills. Specifically, this course highlights the importance of networking as a tool in their career development.

Our evening kicks off with dinner and drinks with your fellow FDU alumni as you mix and mingle with some of our impressive theater students. Enjoy a spring evening as you walk over to Dreyfus Theater to enjoy 9 to 5 LIVE on stage.

The FDU Hospitality and Tourism Alumni Chapter cordially invites you to join us for the Second Annual Alumni Awards Celebration!
Mingle, reconnect, and celebrate with fellow classmates, the school’s esteemed faculty, and friends. All proceeds of the event will support scholarships for students at the International School of Hospitality, Sports, and Tourism Management.

Charter Day
Charter Day celebrates the University’s history and heritage by bringing together alumni, friends and corporation and foundation partners. In addition to providing the University with the opportunity to honor its loyal and distinguished alumni, the event supports student scholarships. Over the course of more than 30 years, Charter Day has raised more than $12 million and has provided hundreds of students with assistance as they work toward their degrees.
Welcome Home to FDU
Homecoming
Come home to FDU for a festive and fun-filled day on the Florham Campus. The annual Homecoming celebration on the Florham campus takes place in September or October each year. FDU's Homecoming tradition features food trucks, a beer garden, games for adults and children, a football game and most importantly you! Registration for Homecoming 2024 will be available during the Summer of 2024.
Honoring Distinguished Alumni
The PINNACLE Society
The PINNACLE Society was formed in 1989 to recognize the University’s most distinguished and accomplished alumni. Recipients of The PINNACLE are chosen by past inductees. Inductees to The PINNACLE Society demonstrate success or distinction in one’s chosen field of endeavor, significant contributions to society and humanity through public or humanitarian service and outstanding service to the University or reflection of the unique character of FDU in one’s life. Annually, PINNACLE Society honorees are inducted into The PINNACLE Society during a ceremony held during the Summer.
