Alumni Benefits, Services, and Resources
All FDU alumni who earn a degree from FDU are automatically members of the FDU Alumni Association. Members have access to a variety of alumni benefits, services and resources. The Office of Alumni Relations is actively engaged in expanding the benefits and discounts available, so be on the lookout for more details.
Alumni Insurance Program
The Alumni Insurance Program, administered by USI Affinity, offers a diverse portfolio of insurance products to meet the needs of alumni and their families. Group term life, health, and long-term care insurance plans provide protection - whether you need basic protection or want to supplement existing coverage. Visit the Alumni Insurance Program online, or call (800) 922-1245 for more information.
Audit a Class
Alumni may audit classes at FDU for a fee. An auditor is a student who completes all registration requirements but does not have any record kept of attendance or academic work. No grade is given for the course audited. A student taking a course as an auditor waives all rights to take that course for credit in the present or in the future. To audit a class, you must complete the Adult and Part-Time Application for Undergraduate Admission. For questions, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Adult and Part-Time Admissions by phone at (201) 692-2551 or via e-mail at [email protected].
Career Resources
If you need just a little career guidance, or had a quick career related question, the dedicated team in the Office of Career Development can provide some assistance. E-mail the Career Devleopment team at [email protected]. Access Handshake to research and apply for jobs, learn about upcoming career events - on campus and off campus, participate in on campus recruiting and share your resumé with employers.

Unfortunately, at this time there is no fitness center alumni membership on the Florham Campus.

Rothman Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship
The Rothman Institute has supported entrepreneurship and innovation in the academic, business, and nonprofit communities since its inception in 1989. An outstanding entrepreneurship curriculum taught by an excellent faculty has helped make the academic program among the best in the nation. The Institute’s goal is to empower people and communities to grow through education. The Center’s innovative outreach programs help people succeed in their new or growing ventures as well as in their corporations or organizations. Learn more about the services and programs available.
University Libraries
Alumni are eligible to use any of the FDU libraries. We kindly ask alumni to remember that the libraries are first and foremost for current FDU students to pursue their education. Therefore, during peak times of the academic year (e.g. the start of the semester, mid-terms and finals week) access may be limited to current FDU students, faculty and staff. Books may be checked out, but a credit card will be required to guarantee the return of the borrowed item(s). A valid FDU alumni ID card will be required to access the library. E-mail the Office of Alumni Relations at [email protected] to request an ID card. Please be sure to indicate in your e-mail the purpose of the ID card.
