2026 FDU Forward Transformational Honoree Matt Winters, BS’14
Matt Winters is a Co-Founder of Victory Home Remodeling and oversees all sales departments, ensuring every team consistently exceeds performance metrics while protecting the culture that makes Victory what it is.
His role sits at the intersection of results and people, driving high standards while keeping the organization grounded in relationships, respect, and accountability.
Matt began his career after graduating from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2014 and entered the home improvement industry immediately. Over the next several years, he developed a foundation in sales leadership that would shape his approach to building teams, strengthening culture, and leading through positive reinforcement. In 2019, he took the leap to launch Victory Home Remodeling with his three partners, where he learned firsthand how to navigate obstacles, make tough decisions, and build a company designed to scale without losing its core identity – it’s focus on people.
Matt’s leadership philosophy is simple and consistent: create real relationships, treat people with respect, and recognize the wins. He believes that culture is not a side project. It is the strategy. He leads with the mindset that people perform best when they feel valued, supported, and challenged in the right ways.
One of the milestones Matt is most proud of is Victory being recognized as one of the best places to work in the country by FORTUNE Magazine. For him, that recognition represents more than growth or business success. It reflects the environment Victory has created, where people can genuinely enjoy coming to work, feel supported as humans, and build meaningful careers.
Outside of work, Matt’s greatest passion is his family. He loves coaching his boys in sports year-round and takes pride in being present for the moments that matter most, both at home and in the workplace.
