About Nicholas Saccoliti, BS'21
From the Family
Nicholas Saccoliti, of Leonia, NJ, a cherished son and friend, whose sudden departure at just 27 years old leaves an irreplaceable void in our lives. Nicholas was kind, warm, and exuberant. With a big smile and open arms, he made everyone feel welcome. And everyone, in turn, was so happy whenever he was near.
But his open heart came with a stubborn streak. Nick approached challenges with determination, refusing to yield in the face of adversity. He would not waver on his principles and he clung fiercely to his convictions.
He loved "The Count of Monte Cristo" and "The Lord of the Rings." He always found time for one more box of Legos. He was proud to be a Green Knight from St. Joseph Regional High School and a graduate with honors from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He played football, canoed the Boundary Waters, smoked fine cigars, dressed up as Santa at Christmas, wore bunny ears on Easter, and loved well.
In the wake of his sudden passing, we are left to grapple with the unfathomable pain of losing someone so deeply loved and cherished.
