Areas of Support
Ed.D. Professional Development Fund
Provides opportunities for emerging student leaders to attend conferences, workshops, and training sessions that expand their expertise and strengthen their impact in the field.
This fund will be used annually to:
- Provide funding for activities such as attending conferences, workshops, or training sessions that enhance research skills and professional networks.
- Cover expenses related to presenting research or participating in academic events.
Gifts of any amount will make an impact in supporting our students’ professional development.
- $50 covers the registration fee for an online training in a specific research methodology.
- $400 offsets the registration cost for a student to attend a national conference.
- $700 for travel expenses to a regional or national conference to present on research.
Teacher Development Support Fund
Provides need-based scholarships to aspiring teachers and students advancing their teaching credentials. This fund will help cover essential academic costs such as tuition, textbooks, and materials, allowing these future educators to focus on their training and development. By contributing, you are investing in the next generation of educators who will shape the future of our classrooms and communities.
This fund will be used to help students cover costs such as:
- Tuition fees for coursework
- Textbooks and educational materials
- Certification exam fees (e.g., teaching license tests)
- Technology costs (e.g., laptops, software, or educational apps)
- Transportation to and from field experience placements
- Other expenses specifically related to field experience placements
Gifts of any amount will make an impact in supporting our students’ success as they develop their teaching careers.
- $50 can defray the cost of gas for driving to and from a field placement.
- $200 could help cover the cost of a Praxis II exam.
- $1,000 could help cover a master’s student’s university technology fee on their student bill.
