Charter Day 2023
Fairleigh Dickinson University honored Micheline Nader, BSN, MPH, DESS, best-selling author, healthcare entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and philanthropist, at its annual Charter Day celebration, held on June 1st, 2023, on the University’s beautiful Florham Campus.
Charter Day celebrates the University’s history and heritage by bringing together alumni, friends, and corporation and foundation partners. In addition to providing the University with the opportunity to honor its loyal and distinguished alumni, the event supports student scholarships. Over the course of more than 30 years, Charter Day has raised more than $12 million and has provided hundreds of students with assistance as they work toward their degrees.

I am truly honored to serve as the 9th President of Fairleigh Dickinson University. I have had the privilege of fostering my academic and professional career here at FDU, and I look forward to taking the journey into the future with you as critical partners in our mission to transform student lives.
In this next phase of FDU, we are making students our North Star, and will expand efforts to prioritize student success and student support in their pursuit of an FDU education. Our current generation of learners come to us with different hopes, dreams, burdens and challenges, but still seek transformational experiences when they get here. It’s our moral imperative and institutional duty to do everything we can to meet our learners where they are and provide an education, services, and support to help get them to the finish line.
You are a vital part of this journey. With your support, we can offer more student scholarships, provide safety nets for those in need, and improve our facilities and services to continue to recruit and retain students through the FDU pipeline.

Meet 2023 Charter Day Honoree Micheline Nader
Micheline Nader, BSN, MPH, DESS is a best-selling author, healthcare entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and philanthropist dedicated to empowering people through conscious awareness and transformational leadership. She is the Founder and former CEO of Blue Dolphin Healthcare Group and is currently the President of Jesra Foundation, her family nonprofit dedicated to creating breakthroughs in health and education.
