Dr. Eleanor McGlinchey, Assistant Professor, FDU School of Psychology

Hosted by the FDU Alumni Association and Office of Alumni Relations

Tuesday, May 26, 2020 | 7:30 p.m. (E.D.T.) | Online Webinar

Life as we know it has drastically changed over the past few months. Many are struggling with schooling and working from home. It can be particularly difficult to establish and maintain a schedule when spending a lot of time at home, which can affect our sleep and lead to late nights, late mornings, and longer daytime naps. This is an important time to make sleep a priority for your health and well-being.
Sleep is particularly important to maintain mental and physical health. Poor sleep can lead to health problems and good sleep habits protect our mental and physical health.
Sleep helps us learn, make better decisions, and even boosts creativity. Sleep problems can negatively affect the body’s ability to regulate itself. As we all seek to come out of this time at home better equipped for staying healthy, this talk will focus on how to get back on track with good sleep habits.
